Cheap Doesn’t Mean Nasty,
After reading reviews for this item from various suppliers, I plumped for this particular one. Thought I had nothing to lose at the price.
When the item was recieved I couldn’t believe the quality, so much better than the original lead supplied by Apple which had split where the wire joins the USB. This seems to be Apples achiles heel! I also like the way the lead locks into the ipod. I thoroughly recommend this product

I bought this to replace a mislaid Ipod Nano 4Gb lead, I’m pleased to say that it works fine, my children have tried the same lead on their Iphones and it works on them too, I dare say it works on everything that it mentions in the advert.

|Very clearly a counterfeit product,
It takes little more than a cursory glance at this product to realise its not a genuine apple cable.
Mis-selling and overpriced junk.

|Genuine “bulk packed” Apple product? I think NOT!,
Buyer beware. If you’re going to get a non-Apple product then go for the cheapest rather than one that claims to be the genuine article. Ideally go for a known/branded product or get a charger (such as Belkin) that comes with a cable for free! Apple wouldn’t dream of bulk-packing anything!!! These cheapo cables may or may not work and may or may not last so watch out, there are plenty of fake chinese Applelookalikes about.

|Not genuine, but works just as well,
Rightly or wrongly, I was concerned that an inferior charger might damage my phone. As others have said about this, you can tell its not genuine as the printing on the plugs isnt quite the same as the real thing. However I’ve been using mine for over a year now as a spare that I keep at work and it works perfectly. I bought it with the ‘genuine’ mains plug from the same seller http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003XYZ23U which I’ve been unable to tell apart from the original. Both work a treat and cost me considerably less than the crazy Apple prices.
