    The archos fits snugly into the case, and seems decently protected.

    It won’t protect against drops I doubt, but the archos feels like a tough cookie anyway (not that I have tested this!).

    The case is well made and looks classy.

    2 things I would of liked is somewhere to keep the screen wipe you get, i got round this by keeping mine behind the stand on the back, and something to hold your headphones (I fold mine up and use the main clasp to hold them).

    Over all I would recommend this case if you want something to carry the archos round in, but not if you intend to throw it at walls!

    No frills, leather case for your Archos 5. Even has a space in the fold to keep a stylus (I use a spare Ninteno DS stylus). Works well even when docked with the mini-dock (a must have purchase with the Archos)

    Buy this iGadgitz case, it’s much better to keep your Archos in 1 piece, as Archos is inserted into case horizontally,with a sturdy pop fastener.

    Unlike TuffLove,etc where you most likely hold Archos with the speaker/headphone socket facing upwards.

    TuffLove;s opening is vertical,with the opening at the bottom, plus weak magnetic catch your Archos will likely fall out. TuffLuv ultimately useless!

    The cover is very “stiff” it wants to keep closing and is troublesome to secure to the popper on the back.

    The viewing angle while free standing is also very steep, making you hunch to watch it while sitting at a table/couch/airplane seat (i have to prop the base up on something to make it more comfortable and i am only average height), however it does protect the Archos very well.
