real deal,
this one is the real deal – identical to my original htc desire battery. wish i had gone with this seller again as i lost the battery and bought a ‘genuine’ one with sticker round it to make it look real.

|I do not believe it to be a genuine HTC battery.,
Received battery in reasonable time. Postage charges a little high but they were there to be seen from the very start so can’t complain too much. Having charged the battery, I unplugged and went off to on my daily business. Having done a little internet surfing, and I mean a little, I looked at the battery level indicator on the top of the screen and it had turned orange. I then went through the settings and saw that the actual level was down to 30%. I have now altered the display settings as this was what the phone stated had used all the charge. Hopefully this should help with future battery usage. My point of highlighting this is that the original battery that come with the phone has a longer charge than this new one does. It also doesn’t seem to fit into the phone as well as the original; I have to apply a little pressure for it to sit fully in place.
In the time of writing this review, the phone has just indicated that it is now down to 15%. I am a slow typer but not that slow.

|Exacty the same as the original,
Unlike copies, this is HTC branded and exactly the same as the original. It works well but not any better nor worse. So if you’re happy with your Desire’s battery life you will be very happy with it; if not, this will do nothing for you – but at least it won’t leak/blow and destroy your phone.
